A soldier who went AWOL from Fort Hunter Liggett in South Monterey County on Tuesday was found in Redwood City. The solider is 34-year-old Spencer Slick and he was found by CHP officers, who pulled him over while he was driving a military humvee. Officials say he left the base on Tuesday after he was demoted but it’s still unclear exactly why he left.
