The owners of a santa cruz bar have filed a new bankruptcy petition, as they seek to keep the business running despite mounting debts. The attorney for the owners of the avenue bar, on the 7-hundred block of pacific avenue, filed the chapter-13 petition earlier this month. The business owners had earlier sought chapter-11 bankruptcy, but the bar’s debts exceeded the limit. A ruling on the petition is expected to be made in late august.
