A person has been scamming Pacific Grove residents. The person poses as an auto body repairman, and has been taking payments before completing the work. Pacific Grove police officers are suggesting that people:
- Use a licensed repair shop instead, or at least get the full legal name of the business, and
- Arrange to pay in increments as the work is
- They also recommend that people get a written, and itemized, estimate and contact …
And that they arrange to pay with a check or credit card (so as to be able to get the bank’s assistance if the charge is not legitimate).
