(07:13) WATSONVILLE – Watsonville police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this week. The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of Freedom Boulevard. Officials say a man was sitting in a parked car when he was approached by a teenager. The teen demanded money then struck the victim with a gun. The man gave the robber his phone, wedding ring and car keys. The teen then fled the scene on a black bike. The victim suffered minor injuries. The robber has been described as a Latino male, around 16 to 17 years old and about 5-foot-7. He was wearing a brown and white checkered jacket and blue jeans.
