(07:54) MONTEREY – Two people were injured after being struck by vehicles in Monterey this week. Both incidents occurred Tuesday at the intersection of Casa Verde Way and Del Monte Avenue. A bicyclist sustained minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle around 3 p.m. The driver, 24-year-old Domenique Sotelo was located shortly after and arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run. In the second incident, a pedestrian was hit by a car shortly after 9:30 p.m. The victim was hospitalized and is currently in stable condition. The driver is not being charged. (S.G.)
