(08:52) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Cal Fire officials are encouraging residents in rural areas to get locks for their fire hydrants. The recommendation has been made following a recent case of water theft in Felton. Standard locking caps are sufficient in preventing people from tampering with hydrants. They also allow firefighters to easily access hydrants. (S.G.)
