Following the recent maltreatment and murders of 9 year old Shaun and 6 year old Delylah Tara, who were taken out of public school to be home educated, education officials are calling for more safety measures. The new regulations, which are scheduled to be approved in two weeks, aim to prevent severe abuse from going undetected if children are being educated at home.
