(17:39) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz Police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for taking nude pictures of a minor. According to witnesses, the incident occurred at about 5:10 p.m. on July 13 when a man was seen taking pictures of a naked 7-year-old girl while she was rinsing off in a public shower on the 100 block of Beach Street in Santa Cruz. A restaurant employee alerted the parents of the suspect’s actions and he subsequently fled the scene. The man is described as a white male in his 60s, about 5-foot 8-inches, with white hair and a medium build. He was wearing a cowboy hat and sleeveless shirt at the time of the incident. Anyone with information relative to the suspect’s identity is encouraged to contact Santa Cruz Police.
