(10:12) CALIFORNIA – California residents are invited to participate in a set of contests with ideas on how to improve transportation, promote sustainable government practices, and prevent underage drinking. The “$25K Find a New Way” contests were created by legislation authored by Assemblyman Mike Gatto and signed by Governor Jerry Brown last September. In accordance with AB 1238, The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Caltrans and the Department of General Services are offering innovators up to $25,000 for their ideas.
