August 25, 2017: Update:  Salinas DUI Checkpoint     

(10:55) Salinas – The Salinas Police Department conducted a DUI Checkpoint last night at 6:00.  During the 5 hour operation officers cited 22 people for driving without a license, 3 people had a suspended license’s, 2 arrests were made for outstanding warrants, and 2 arrests were made for criminal charges.   The purpose of the checkpoint was to promote public safety, act as a deterrent to drunk/drugged driving, and educate the public on the dangers of drunk/drugged driving.
