(07:49) SALINAS – Salinas police conducted a DUI and driver’s license checkpoint over the weekend. Officers stopped over 800 drivers at the checkpoint on Williams Road near Wiren Street. One driver was arrested for driving under the influence and another was apprehended for lying to police while on felony probation. Officers also issued nearly four dozen citations. (S.G.)
