(07:45) SANTA CRUZ – A man was arrested in Santa Cruz over the weekend on drug charges and outstanding warrants. Deputies were patrolling near Corcoran Beach early Saturday morning when they spotted 44-year-old Brian Espindola. The suspect ran and hid from deputies on the beach. Deputies located Espindola and found him in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into county jail. (S.G.)
