(07:30) Monterey – Cal Fire reported this morning (Monday) That the Soberanes Fire is now 86,294 acres and is still 60 percent contained. The fire crossed the Carmel River and is moving towards Buckskin Flat. Evacuation warnings have lifted for the east side of Highway 1 from Andrew Molera State Park to Coast Ridge Road at the Ventana Inn. Firefighter Officials reported on Friday that the expected date for full containment has been moved from August 31 to September 30.
