(Updated at 10:56) – The evacuation has been lifted for a neighborhood in Hollister following a gas leak Thursday morning. Residents in the area of Fairview and Sunnyslope roads were asked to leave their homes around 8 a.m. Officials say the gas leak occurred when construction workers accidentally broke a 4-inch gas line. The leak was repaired and the area was cleared by 10 a.m.
