(16:47) CENTRAL COAST- In Shape Health Clubs has reached a $26 million settlement with Monterey, Santa Cruz and Kern Counties. The settlement is over possible violations of state business codes and consumer protection laws. The agreement ends legal action against the health club for unfair business practices, false advertising and deceptive membership programs. In Shape will dismiss 22 million dollars in member debt in and pay 1.5 million dollars to members who suffered financial harm from unauthorized charges. In Shape is to also reverse any negative credit reports to credit reporting agencies.
