(09:01) SOLEDAD – A 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck Monterey County early Wednesday morning. The quake hit 18 miles northeast of Soledad around 4:39 a.m. There have been no reports of damage or injury. It marked the third earthquake, magnitude 3.0 or greater, to hit the area in the past 10 days. (S.G.)
