(07:15) Santa Cruz County – Motorcycle officers from Santa Cruz CHP, Scotts Valley PD, Watsonville PD and Capitola PD combined forces with the Santa Cruz Police Department in a citywide traffic enforcement initiative yesterday. The BADGES (Before Aggressive Driving Gets Everyone Stopped) operation addresses road traffic offenses, enforcement and education. There were 90 Citations issued, 24 Warnings, 4 Towed Vehicles, 1 Vehicle versus fire hydrant crash, and 1 Arrest for possession of drugs and driving on a suspended license.
