(14:54) UCSC/SANTA CLARA – The educational partnership center at U-C-S-C has received federal funds to help students in Santa Clara County. The $1.2 million federal grant is designed to assist disadvantaged middle and high schoolers pursue a post-secondary education, by providing tutoring services as well as counseling services. The 500 students who will benefit from the program this year are in the Alum Rock Union, East Side Union, and Mckinley School Districts.
