(07:26) SANTA CRUZ – A man was injured in a crash in Santa Cruz Friday morning. The victim was riding his motorcycle on Branciforte Drive when he struck a deer shortly after 9:30 a.m. The man was transported to a Bay Area trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. The deer was killed in the crash. Drugs and alcohol are not considered to be factors in the crash. (S.G.)
