(07:06) STANISLAUS COUNTY – A criminal defense lawyer and eight others have been arrested in Modesto in connection with the death of a Central Valley man. Attorney Frank Carson allegedly enlisted the help of his associates and several CHP officers to kill 26-year-old Korey Kauffman in 2012. Investigators believe Carson arranged to have Kauffman murdered after suspecting him of stealing items from storage units on his property. All nine suspects remain in jail. (S.G.)
