August 17, 2015: Great Egret Shot, Injured in Soledad

(07:50) SOLEDAD – The Monterey County SPCA is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual who shot a Great Egret in Soledad on Sunday. The bird was injured after being shot with a pellet gun near Main Street Middle School. The egret is currently recovering at a wildlife center.  Great Egrets are federally protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Anyone with information is to contact the SPCA. (S.G.)
