(15:31) KING CITY – A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for his involvement in a King City Homicide. On July 1, King City Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 700 block of South First Street. Upon arrival, officers found Michael Anthony Benavides suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 15-year-old male suspect was arrested today and will be charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and gang enhancements. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the King City Police Department at (831) 386-5956.
