(09:49) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Marina man has pleaded no contest to worker’s compensation fraud. 56-year-old Sven Hoffman claimed he hurt his right wrist while working as a prep cook in 2013. He then added his left wrist to the injury report. Hoffman received medical treatment and disability payments. Investigators discovered that Hoffman was continuing to work other jobs while receiving benefits. He faces up to five years in prison when he is sentenced September 22. (S.G.)
