(08:48) MONTEREY – A non-profit organization is kicking off fundraising efforts for a new zoo in Monterey. The owners of Wild Things are looking to reinvent their business and become a modern zoological facility. The zoo’s capital campaign is culminating next week with the opening of its first exhibit: a tiger enclosure. Donations are currently being accepted at gofundme.com/montereyzoo . Anyone who contributes $500 or more will be invited to watch the tigers being released into the 12,000-square-foot enclosure. (S.G.)
