(08:26) MARINA – Police are investigating a series of car thefts that occurred in Marina over the weekend. Officers received a number of reports of stolen vehicles between August 7-9. Most of the cases were reported on the 200 block of Carmel Avenue and the 3000 block of Del Monte Boulevard. A majority of the vehicles were 90’s model compact cars or 4-door sedans. The public is being asked to remain vigilant, remove valuables from their vehicles, and report any suspicious activity. (S.G.)
