Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating an attempted abduction near San Lorenzo Valley Middle School. Officials say the incident occurred last Thursday around 6:30 p.m. A 13-year-old boy was waiting in the school’s parking lot when two men attempted to lure him into a white delivery truck. A man wearing a black shirt called for the boy three times. One of the men also asked him to help move items in the truck. The boy ran away without injury.
