Hollister Police are urging the public to be on alert following an attempted abduction Tuesday night.
A young woman was walking her dog about 9 PM along Rand Street when a man in a black pick-up truck pulled alongside.
The man motioned for the women to get in the truck. She fled to a nearby home where the homeowners let her inside to call police.
The man looked to be in his 50’s. He has a larger build and short gray hair. His vehicle is a small older black pickup.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Hollister police.
