A woman is in critical condition in a bay area hospital, after she was found in a field in salinas with severe injuries. The victim was discovered just before 1 a.m. today, when a person spotted her lying in an agricultural field on the 18-hundred block of old stage road. She was airlifted out of the county after emergency responders arrived. Anyone with information about the assault is encouraged to contact the monterey county sheriff’s department.
