Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested several people on Friday night, in an attempt to control an unruly crowd. Deputies were called to El Desquite Bar in Salinas, after the bar’s management reported that people were trying to force their way in, despite the bar being at capacity. Deputies reported that about 50-people were trying to overpower security guards, and tried to calm the crowd. The group would not disperse, and deputies arrested 12-people, including 1-minor, they are expected to face riot-related charges.
