On New Year’s Day, Hollister Police arrested a man suspected of committing a homicide on December 30 of last year.
The victim was Christopher Jacobs. He was found in a vehicle that was involved in a collision and was suffering from a chest wound.
Thanks to the downtown camera network along with community tips, Hollister Police detectives were able to identify the suspect. The suspect, Manuel Campa, was arrested and booked for murder and parole violation.
He is being held on a million-dollar bail but is unable to post bail due to parole hold.
