Authorities in san benito county have taken custody of a man, who was wanted for a home invasion robbery that took place in 2006. the robbery of the home on the 1-hundred block of hollister’s mcCray street, involved 2-armed suspects. They held the residents hostage, while stealing jewelry and personal items, and then fled. The victims were not reportedly injured. 1-of the suspects was identified as 25-year-old hollister resident antonio cano escobar, taken into custody for a separate robbery in los banos. After completing his prison sentence on monday, escobar was transferred to san benito county, placed under arrest, and booked into san benito county jail on multiple charges. The 2nd suspect is still wanted.
