The arraignment has been delayed for two suspects connected with the murder of a Santa Cruz man. Officials say 18-year-old Samuel Weinberg was in his car at North Pacific Avenue and River Street Friday night when he was fatally shot. 22-year-old Brandon Thomas and 23-year-old Jonah Namauu have been arrested in connection with Weinberg’s death. Both men face various charges, including murder and gang participation. If convicted, they both face life in prison. They are expected to appear in court April 22nd.
