Quick action yesterday kept a small fire from spreading to nearby buildings. The brush fire broke out at on the McClellan Botanicals property along San Juan Road in Aromas. Workers there were able to keep the blaze from spreading until Cal-Fire crews could get there. The 2:30 p.m. fire was contained to half an acre.
