A SALINAS WOMAN WAS ROBBED MONDAY MORNING AS SHE SHE WAS DRIVING TO THE BANK TO DEPOSIT THE WEEKEND RECEIPTS OF HER BUSINESS. THE SUSPECTS’ VEHICLE BLOCKED HER PATH AT THE INTERSECTION OF INDEPENDENCE DRIVE AND LEXINGTON BOULEVARD. 2 OF 3 MEN GOT OUT, BOTH HOLDING HANDGUNS, AND 1 ALSO HOLDING A CROWBAR. 1 OF THE SUSPECTS BROKE OUT 1 OF THE VICTIM’S WINDOWS, DEMANDED MONEY, AND THE 3 SUSPECTS FLED WITH AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF CASH. THE SUSPECTS’ VEHICLE IS DESCRIBED AS A TAN, EARLY ’90’S CHEVROLET IMPALA WITH REAR TINTED WINDOWS; IT WAS LAST SEEN HEADING NORTHBOUND ON INDEPENDENCE DRIVE TOWARD BORONDA ROAD.
