A salinas credit union was robbed at gunpoint tuesday morning. 2-men entered the business (on the 3-hundred block of abbott street) at about 11:30 a.m. the suspects brandished a revolver and shotgun, and ordered employees to the ground. They fled to a waiting getaway vehicle, and were last seen heading eastbound on abbott street. the vehicle was described as a jeep grand cherokee from the 2000s. no injuries were reported in the incident. anyone with information about the robbery is encouraged to contact the salinas police department.
