Santa Cruz Police arrested a man on Saturday morning for armed robbery. Officers are still looking for the 2nd suspect in the incident, which occurred on 3-hundred block of West Cliff Drive. Just before 2 a.m., a 27-year-old man was approached by the 2-suspects, who demanded his possessions at gunpoint. The victim gave the men his property, and escaped unharmed. He reported the incident from a nearby residence, and officers responded to the area and located 21-year-old Julio Chavez, who was identified as 1-of the armed men. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail for armed robbery. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
