A Santa Cruz man was arrested for several charges on Saturday, after a resident allegedly saw him prowling. A Santa Cruz Police officer was flagged down at 9:23 a.m., on the 1-hundred block of Hubbard Street, by a man who reported seeing a prowler. Officers located the suspect near the San Lorenzo River levee, and arrested him after a foot chase. 18-year-old Ryan Quinn Lanthier faces several charges, including being a gang member in possession of a firearm, after he tried to pull the weapon out during his arrest. Police say Lanthier is a Norteno gang member. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
