Santa Cruz sheriff’s deputies are combing thru evidence this morning at a home on trout gulch road in Aptos where a triple shooting took place around 4-o’clock yesterday afternoon.
One person died at the scene and the other two are hospitalized. According to sgt. Dee Baldwin, the public information officer… investigators are trying to figure if the suspect was also stabbed… at this time that’s unclear.
Baldwin did say this was not a case of a random break-in… those involved in the shooting apparently had some sort of relationship. But they are not releasing their identity yet.
Sheriff’s deputies will meet this morning to go over the evidence and an official press release is forthcoming…. Stay tuned.
