An Aptos woman remains in custody with bail set at just over a million dollars for the fatal stabbing of her husband over the weekend. 51 year old Amanda Montero Owens was arrested, shortly before 1 p-m on Saturday, after deputies arrived to a reported stabbing on the 100 block of Victoria Lane. At the scene first responders found 63 year old Thomas Owen suffering from a knife attack. He died of his injuries at the home. Amanda Owen was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on 1st degree homicide charges. At this time a motive has yet to be established.
