Authorities are advising Aptos residents to be aware of strangers in their neighborhoods, after a series of residential burglaries have occurred in the last month. About 17-thefts have taken place in different areas around Aptos. The burglaries included thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry, electronics, and other items, which were usually taken, between noon and 4-p.m.
