A PRELIMINARY HEARING WAS HELD ON THURSDAY FOR A MAN, ACCUSED OF KILLING HIS PARENTS AT THEIR APTOS HOME ON JUNE 30TH OF 2013. PROSECUTORS ALLEGE THAT 41 YEAR OLD JAMES HENDERSON RAN OVER HIS FATHER WITH A CAR, KILLING HIM, AND THEN BLUDGEONED HIS MOTHER TO DEATH IN THEIR RIDGEVIEW DRIVE HOME. JUDGE TIMOTHY VOLKMANN RULED THAT ENOUGH EVIDENCE EXISTED TO HOLD HENDERSON ON TWO COUNTS OF MURDER. IF CONVICTED HE FACES LIFE IN PRISON WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE. HE IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN JAIL IN LIEU OF 2 MILLION DOLLARS BAIL. HE IS DUE BACK IN COURT ON JANUARY 16TH TO SET A DATE FOR TRIAL.
