Aptos and Rio Del Mar residents are being warned about the presence of a cougar in the area. The warning comes after a resident spotted a mountain lion on a surveillance camera at about 11 a-m in The Huntington Drive neighborhood of rural Aptos. People should take precautions with children and pets.
