No one was injured when a fire broke out in a Monterey apartment this morning. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to just 2 apartments (that shared a wall on the 2nd floor) of the Dela Vina Avenue apartment building. The fire was caused by a plumber doing some soldering work on pipes in the wall.
