April 8, 2016: Santa Cruz County Awarded Half A Million in Funding for Groundwater Planning

(07:50) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Santa Cruz County officials have received nearly half a million dollars in funding to help with sustainable groundwater planning. The grants have been awarded by the California Department of Water Resources, which is distributing a total of $6.7 million statewide to fund water infrastructure and storage projects. County officials plan to use the funds to help the Santa Cruz Mid-County Groundwater Management Program develop a sustainability plan for its groundwater basin. (S.G.)
