(07:20) Santa Cruz – Authorities reported that 14 people were rescued at Panther Beach, just North of Santa Cruz, on Sunday. The 14 beach goers were stranded after rising tides left them with no way to exit the beach. A CHP helicopter responded from Napa and quickly assisted in lifting the people to safety. There were no reports of injuries.
