(12:00) Soledad – California prison authorities reported that 2 inmates were found dead in unrelated events at Salinas Valley State Prison in Soledad on Saturday. 22-year-old Cedric Saunders death is being investigated as a homicide. Saunders was serving a 5 year sentence for second-degree robbery with a street gang enhancement. Minutes later a 61-year-old inmate was found dead in his cell. A cause of death has not been released and his name is being withheld until his family can be notified.
