(10:50) Monterey – Caltrans announced that a 3 day emergency tree removal on US Highway 101 is scheduled start this Monday. The number 2 (right lane) of northbound US Highway 101 will be closed at Dunbarton Road in the Prunedale area. The removal of damaged Eucalyptus trees from recent storms will ensure the safety of the public. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 30 minutes. The tree removal will take place from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. starting this Monday and end Wednesday, April 26.
