A number of vehicles associated with a new Apple project were spotted in Santa Cruz County this week. Residents in Scotts Valley and Bonny Doon have reported seeing minivans with what appears to be camera equipment and a mapping sensor mounted to the roof. Officials say the vehicles have been leased to Apple and believe that the company is preparing to launch a program similar to Google’s Street View initiative.
