A Watsonville gas station owner, who was denied his request for a license to sell beer and wine, has lost an appeal of that decision. That means that main street American fuels, located at 175 main street, will not be allowed to sell alcohol. The license application could be reconsidered, if the number of other permits in the area goes down. The neighborhood is considered to have a “high concentration” of alcohol sellers, and is also classified as a “high crime area.”
