About 65 people, mostly women, some carrying signs saying they believe the accusers of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, gathered at the Clock Tower downtown in protest earlier today.
One of the protesters, Ann Simonton of Santa Cruz, said she was there to show the community cares about what is happening in Washington.
The noontime protest featured several speakers and a moment of silence to honor all of Kavanaugh’s accusers.
